I like the pick. Love is being compared to Mahomes, who is an absolute stud. At $30 mil/yr, Rodgers just isn’t worth that much cap space. His play has declined the last 3 years and injuries have taken a toll on him. Hopefully this lights a fire under Aaron and he can get another ring in the next 2 years, as that is all he will play with the Packers at this point. He always plays better when he has a chip on his shoulder. Time will tell of this was the right decision.

The Packers inability to win with their back up QB's was more of a reflection of McCarthy's predictable conservative playcalling and the Packer franchise inability to field a complete team on offense or defense.. hence why the Packers are a 1 -2 win team at best without Rodgers... The way he micromanaged the QB and play calls no QB could have any success. Love is a project and no guarantee even will become a serviceable backup. Packers needed a WR, CB, TE to win now. Bad pick again IMHO...

Well, we all agree they weren't as good as their record. They were a long way behind the 49ers. I don't think there's a single player that would get them there this year. Their biggest improvement is going to have to come from the guys on their roster. And they're still going to be able to get some receivers in the second and third rounds.
