Hello everyone, welcome to the JSOnline and PackersNews live blog of Packers-Vikings.
It's warm, muggy but otherwise pleasant (except for the mosquitoes).
I hope everyone's ready for some football.
They have a lot to prove before they're even in the same class as the Vikings. The Vikings defense has been good for years, so Minnesota deserves all its due. The Packers have to prove their in the same class.
I assume he is. No changes have been mentioned.
No, the flags are pretty calm.
Starting off with water to make sure I'm hydrated. Then I'll go to the soda and then transition to coffee after the game. Thanks for asking.
I think it's likely, but I could also see him noticing the Vikings CBs up tight on the WRs and take some shots down the field.
No, I think ESB is down because Tim Boyle is up. They need all three QBs today.
I would say if he suffers some hits in which he displays no agility then they'll take him out.
I think it could be whoever has to cover Dalvin Cook out of the backfield. Could be Blake Martinez, could be Jermaine Whitehead, could be Alexander or Jackson.
I think he just had gotten used to having his way with the previous DL coach and there were times he felt he needed to be on the field. His effort has never been questioned, but he's an emotional player and I don't think it always serves him well.
Not since I've been on the beat. There have been years the Vikings have been way better than the Packers, especially when playing in Minnesota.
Good question. it's a long season and right now they don't need him. But at some point they will. It's really up to him.
Whatever the diagnosis is, and we've heard at least three different reports on it, he's got a sprained knee and pain and flexibility are going to be factors in his performance. He's wearing a pretty extensive brace and that is going to limit his running and movement quite a bit.
Well, yeah, they should be on the field. But it's Week 2. Are you going to judge them on two games missed or see how the entire year goes. Jones was healthy the entire year last season.
