Tom, it seems our WRs have all had issues with seperation...esp after major surgeries... Adams seems to have broken that mold. Doubt "larger" rookie receivers will specialize in seperation vs faster smaller, quicker ones, thoughts ?

Well, this group they brought in can run. MVS has superior speed, but Moore and St. Brown are fast enough for their size.

The run game was pretty lousy. They focused on passing all off-season and it's kind of shown. Granted half their line didn't play and neither did Aaron Jones or Devante Mays. But Jamaal Williams and Montgomery did and not much going on there.

IMHO, we won't see too much "creativity" in play calling until 9 Sept and #12. I'm so, so glad coach Philbin is back....perhaps he'll help MM with the menu. It just looks like MM gets too excited at times ordering extra meat/cheese on his sandwich from his play sheet. LOL

Experience for one. They haven't played in an offense this complicated. They haven't faced corners this good. They aren't as strong as they'll be in three years. Then, on top of that, they might not be good enough for the NFL.
