He was pretty good in the Baltimore air last week.
Wait, you've made it this long.
I'm going to need some time thinking about that. I enjoyed watching Reggie White and LeRoy Butler. But it's hard to pick anyone more engaging that Favre.
Off the field, I need to think about that.
That was a form tackle. I do not get that penalty.
I think it's more about maturation. Zook didn't have a lot of affect on the punters.
Nice tackle by Ramsey in the open field to hold on third down.
Fourth and 6 with 1:32 to go. Ball on the 34.
Wide open receiver, nice hit and then a lose ball. But Raiders recover. First and goal at the 10.
So, it's first and goal at the 10 with 1:06 left.
All they need is a field goal to win.
And now LaFleur is calling timeouts.
Good question. I think JJ's problems were more his second year when they went to the Super Bowl. But he was also a third-round pick. More was invested in him.
LaFleur is not calling timeouts I suspect because he just wants to get the heck out of there. Otherwise, he should be calling them for one more shot at winning.
So, Daniel Carlson will kick a 33-yard field goal and it's good. LaFleur did not take a timeout to ice the kicker. Boy, he really wants to get out of there. I'll be interested in what he says after the game.
No, he had all three of his timeouts left, according to the offical play by play.
Well, bottom line is these games are about individuals not teams. We'll know more about what kind of team the Packers are on opening day.
Interesting because the play by play only shows two Raiders timeouts. Who knows? This was a bizarro game anyway.
OK, all, time to sign off. Thanks to everyone for making the best out of a ridiculous event. There was still enough to glean from this mess and we'll follow up with stories and analysis. Be sure to see all our coverage the next couple days and look for 5 Questions with LeRoy Butler.
See you all next week for the exhibition finale.
