I wondered that myself. Packers turned to Montgomery and even Jamaal Williams late in the second quarter. Seemed odd to me.
Matthews has played better than his stats indicate this season. He's been active tonight against the run. Could be better as a rusher. Clinton-Dix has had a dismal season.
The end result was bad, but at least McCarthy showed new wrinkles. Zone read, rolling personnel, Trevor Davis on the field. At least they tried to be inventive.
Hard to say. Conceptually I really like it. Just not sure the Packers have the players to make it work.
He's been plain bad. Especially after a Pro Bowl season last year.
Again, I said the first drive showed some inventive options. I didn't say anything about what happened after that drive.
Knucklehead might be a bit strong. Daniels is a very good player. He just straddles the line between aggressive and over-exuberant.
Getting off the field on third down has been a big issue. I feel like the Packers give up at least two or three conversions on third and 10 or longer each week.
I agree. But overall I don't think he's a knucklehead.
It's worth considering. That last drive was the first time the ball moved consistently since the opening possession. Not sure if McCarthy will trust Hundley to keep that going, though.
He headbutted an opponent well after the play was over.
Not sure who is better, but Janis' reticence gave them better field position on average than what the Packers have tonight.
I'm not sure. Matthews and Perry have plenty of talent. Fackrell and Odom probably do not. So I'm not sure what that means in terms of answering the question.
I think they need to get Aaron Jones back in the game. I don't understand why he stopped getting carries on offense
Second half about to start. We'll see if you stay awake. Back to Tom, see you guys later.
All right, folks, I'm back.
Let's resume my boringness :)
They have to figure out what they're going to do offensively. I guess I'd go spread the rest of the game. As much as I hate to take Aaron Jones out, that's all Hundley seems to be able to do.
