Hello everyone, welcome to the live blog of Packers vs. Bears at Lambeau Field.
How's everyone doing tonight?
Well, it should be an interesting evening.
So, in case you weren't on the website tonight, Bulaga, Bakhtiari, Daniels and House are inactive. Nick Perry is active.
The Packers plan on moving left guard Lane Taylor to left tackle and will start Lucas Patrick at left guard. Justin McCray will stay at right tackle.
It's probably the best five linemen the Packers can put on the field, so it's hard to argue with the decision to move Taylor to left tackle. He just got paid the big bucks and he's about to earn them.
He started 47 of 50 games at left guard.
Adam Pankey and Ulrick John are the only backups available. If someone gets hurt, the Packers are sunk.
LOL. That was before I knew neither Bulaga nor Bakhtiari were active. I would have picked against them otherwise.
He's going to have to stay in and block tonight. There will be opportunities for him to work the short routes, but I think chipping rushers will be a big part of his job tonight.
They did very well against Atlanta and Pittsburgh. They are stingy. Their front five is really good. They're going to give the Packers' OL all it can handle tonight.
They're not bad players, they're just not tackles.
No, they haven't gone there yet. I think they'll go with Josh Jones in the middle with Martinez and then adjust if they need to.
A heckuva lot different. Very different. Playing in space vs. playing in a phone booth.
I don't know how you could predict that five tackles would get hurt. They certainly had the bodies to get through injuries, but I don't think anyone could predict five guys going down.
I"m sorry. Unfortunately, I'm not in IT, but I'll pass it along.
Sitton played LT in college. Taylor has never played it.
He's probably the No. 3 four tackle.
Tretter cost too much money. You can't pay $6M a year for a backup. They wouldn't have been able to re-sign Taylor if they had given that much to Tretter. There's just some players you have to let go.
He can block better than anyone else they have at tight end.
