I believe they've thrown it out there and listened to offers. But I don't know who replaces him. Josh Jones? I don't think so. Maybe Breeland or Whitehead, but I doubt that, too.
No reason he shouldn't kill the ball in this weather.
Here come the Packers out of the locker room. Still more boos than cheers.
I believe he has a WS game tonight. Oops, he's doing the game with Aikman.
No need to trade a ton for a corner. That's the one position where they have depth.
I take that back, the crowd noise from the players coming out is really loud for the Packers. This is darn near a home game right now.
I still think it will be MVS because of that speed, but ESB has really been impressive in his limited role. One thing helping ESB is that they used him as a lead blocker on that Jones almost TD run last week and he was impressive. If they want to run the ball, it might help to have him in the game.
Yes, and I don't think he needs to. If he'd trust his guys a little more, I think they could sustain drives better. I'd be dumping the ball off to Jones, Montgomery and Williams all the time. They're good with the ball in their hands.
We'll find out. It would be a smart way to play.
He can call fewer RPO passes. Make it so runs are pre-determined.
When he doesn't run the ball it is.
It's got to be Jones, doesn't it?
Yes, I think both teams will flash some unusual plays today.
OK, they're doing a moment of silence for the tragedy in Pittsburgh and then the anthem. Hang on.
Here are the inactives:
QB Tim Boyle
CB Bashaud Breeland
CB Tony Brown
LB Korey Toomer
G Justin McCray
T Alex Light
WR J'Mon Moore
I don't know about uncoachable, but McCarthy can't do things completely independent of Rodgers. That is different than most teams.
Packers captains are Clay Matthews, Lance Kendricks and James Crawford.
Packers call tails. It's heads. Rams win and will defer. Packers will receive.
