Capers D has not stopped a good QB in 7 years, why did you think today would be different
by Carlp10/30/2016 11:52:25 PM
Let's not forget how our lone SB victory under McCarthy came to be. Big Ben was driving the Steelers down the field for the go-ahead score...
by DrCordell10/30/2016 11:52:32 PM
Shouldn't MM have called time earlier at end of 1st and 2d half? Needed better clock mgmt.
by Ron Kostelnik10/30/2016 11:52:37 PM
This is not a playoff team. Did you watch today?
by Doug10/30/2016 11:52:42 PM
@RonaldKnox ..... YES! Thank you for some optimism! If they can get some injured players back, they have a chance.
by Larry Sena10/30/2016 11:53:01 PM
Time for TT and MM to go. Do they get a lifetime pass because of a fluke SB?
by Mike'sTimexstoppedticking10/30/2016 11:53:05 PM
RELAX. (there's always next year)
by Olebil 10/30/2016 11:53:13 PM
We need all fans to boo this coaching staff anytime you can. Let's force changes
by Carlp10/30/2016 11:53:20 PM
You are what your record says you are: slightly above average. Bummer.
by Ron Kostelnik10/30/2016 11:53:40 PM
Vikings and Patriots in the Super Bowl.... BOOK IT
by JP10/30/2016 11:54:25 PM
If they win today, a 6 - 3 finish puts them in playoffs. Do you think they can finish 7 - 2 now?
by MJ10/30/2016 11:54:31 PM
One "blemish" on AR's career has been a lack of fourth quarter comebacks, but I bet that number would be over fifty the defense didn't give back so many. This type of loss seems way too common, especially early in his dareer
by Joe10/30/2016 11:54:39 PM
@SCPackerFan ..... It's just fine to think that the Packers won't make the playoffs. If they prove you wrong, it's no big deal. None of here are experts. It's all a guessing game for us fans.
by Larry Sena10/30/2016 11:54:50 PM
Some here sound ridiculous.
by Sammi10/30/2016 11:54:55 PM
I sometimes wonder if the Packer brain trust cares more about their revenue stream than winning Lombardi trophies
by Steve H10/30/2016 11:55:01 PM
Ted Thompson has to go. We lack depth across the board. The tackle anchors the line, the receiver that torched us all day, the defensive lineman that sacked Rodgers twice. Veterans acquired by Atlanta while Thompson sits on his hands.
by Robert Mason10/30/2016 11:55:20 PM
Trade for Joe Haden now. A true October (football) surprise by TT !
by Den Patrick10/30/2016 11:55:26 PM
if MM and TT wouldnt be so arrogant about beign a super bowl contender .....
by JP10/30/2016 11:55:36 PM
I think it is funny how after the Packers have had catastrophic failures in the playoffs the last handful of years and after each one all we hear is fans say, "oh wait until next year". Well here is your next year, just makes the loses even bigger and Rodgers won't see another SB.
by JimmyB10/30/2016 11:55:44 PM
Every year it's the same injury excuse. I'm tired of it.
by Jason10/30/2016 11:59:30 PM
It's the same thing every year. We play with kids and when plug holes with taxi squad players with no experience. If we make the playoffs, we exit early. Thompson has to go.
by Robert Mason10/30/2016 11:59:40 PM
Packers have only won 2 playoff games in succession ONCE in the Ted Thompson era. Fire Ted Thompson.
by Robert Mason10/30/2016 11:59:45 PM
why bother asking MM questions he will either give "coaches speak" without answering or get offended tha one would question hi s"expertese" really MM needs to go if for no other reason than a fresg voice
by JP10/30/2016 11:59:54 PM
At this rate we will run out of practice squad players to fill the injury spots.
by Olebil 10/30/2016 11:59:59 PM
Adams needs to be cut. I am tired of his inconsistency.
by Jason10/31/2016 12:00:03 AM
Mccarthy is responsible for all of our losses over the years. Thompson ,Mccarthy and Capers if they have respect for themselves should resaign immediately!
by Julio.10/31/2016 12:00:14 AM
Fans need to start a Fire Ted Thompson website. Packers go nowhere as long as he is the GM.
by Robert Mason10/31/2016 12:00:37 AM
It is pretty sad to say Atlanta's defense is better than ours but it is.
yea, were the first team ATL has scored points against.. oh yea #1 offense
by todds10/31/2016 12:00:57 AM
@todds stats are for losers only stat that matters are Ws and Ls and 4-3 isnt going to cut it this year
by JP10/31/2016 12:03:49 AM
Let's face it the packers are sawft. Matthews only worries about making commercials. Our run game is non existence, never a counter play only the zone Players try hard but changes need to be made
by Jerry10/31/2016 12:11:06 AM
Thompson needs to be fired because he screwed up the running back and tight end situation so bad. Not one of the running backs or tight end on the active roster are any good. The west coast offense rely on tight ends and running backs. Rodgers outplayed again.
by Joe10/31/2016 12:11:12 AM
Need I remind you that the team is a virtual MASH unit. Did anyone really expect a win with your top defensive player and 3 best corners out? They sucked us into this game and broke our hearts at the end, and I am as frustrated with that last sequence as anyone, but very little you can do against Matt Ryan in that situation unfortunately.
by Dave Wottle 7210/31/2016 12:11:20 AM
No play Clay another no show. This guy has more hamstring problems then any other linebacker. Time to jettison him next year.
by Joe10/31/2016 12:11:32 AM
The one hope I carry is that getting the new RBs time to acclimate, getting our injured DBs back and Clay healthy, and getting some players at the bottom of the roster valuable experience (Goodson, Allison, Janis, Fackrell, et al) will bode well the 2nd half of the season. But the veteran leadership on this team needs to take over - and ensure a 6-3 finish or better.
by Tom from CA10/31/2016 12:11:44 AM
Mc Carthy game management cost another game. Blows the Dallas game just before half time with timeouts. Doesn't use them at the end of the first half or end of the game. Out coached again after halftime. At the end of the year regime change needed.
by Joe10/31/2016 12:11:55 AM
If you are Packers management, making the playoffs is good enough. But parity caught up with them this year. Not enough horses in the shed due to drafting in late round year after year.
by Dan in MN10/31/2016 12:12:10 AM
All will be saved with a Cowboy loss and a Cubs loss.
by GNR10/31/2016 12:24:50 AM
I said this after the Seattle loss and will repeat again...Green Bay will NEVER be in another SB as long as TT is the GM. He is unwilling to use all resources available to get them over the top. He just thinks his late 7th round pick is more valuable than a mid level FA. Always young and inexperienced is a recipe for good at best but never great.
by BD10/31/2016 12:24:59 AM
Injuries are getting old. I think there needs to be coaching or management changes. We have some great young looking players but theyre a way off
by Stress5310/31/2016 12:25:06 AM
You are what your record says you are!!!
by WiscPurplePride10/31/2016 12:25:24 AM
Thanks for all the comments, everyone. Time to wrap this up, but be sure to join Ryan Wood for his live PackersNews chat Monday around 1 p.m. And Tom will be back next week for the Colts game. Good night, all.
