I think they didn't want someone abrasive like Gase or dictatorial like McDaniels.
Very bizarre. I'm surprised he did that. It's not good form to rip the others to make your guy look good.
Everybody can be fired after one year.
Possibly. I think he needs to consider moving on from a lot of guys on this staff for freshness sake.
Absolutely. But those who have been coordinators have to command the offensive room. He has done that for two years. He has called plays for one. Maybe he knows a lot about defense and special teams and can relate to those guys.
Because that's the way Murphy set it up after firing Ted.
Nope. I will give him the benefit of the doubt just like any new coach. But I also recognize there are some risks being taken here and I'm skeptical because so many people I respect in the NFL are skeptical too.
Good question. We should know that by next week.
Giving him talent will certainly make a difference. He needs another draft like the one he had last year.
It will look a lot more like what you saw with the Rams. Lots of bunch formations, lots of jet sweeps, lots of play-action, lots of motion.
He never once said anything about winning a Super Bowl. He didn't talk much about what his football team will look like. He didn't talk about discipline other than when I asked him about special teams. I was just expecting more.
Are you kidding me? Fangio is going to use him like Khalil Mack. He'll be defensive MVP next year.
In some ways, it seems like it. But I don't know. Maybe he was that much better than th eothers.
Ted didn't hire Sherman. He hired McCarthy.
