If they did, everyone should be fired.
It would make you think so.
One or both will be released I think.
If the other team is trading a player to get him off their 53, then the trade needs to be consummated today. It's automatically announced by the league.
I don't know if that's the case. They move guys in and out of the practice squad as the season goes on. Typically, teams keep their own because they know more about their own and they wants guys who are settled in so they can have a sharp practice Week 1.
I don't recall any big plays from him but I didn't have time to watch the replay from Thursday night.
They can put as many as they want on IR. But they can only bring back two during the season and both have to have made it through the cut to 53.
You don't have to designate them anymore. You just use the designation on whoever you want and you get two opportunities to use it.
Maybe. The fact he hasn't been cut yet is interestinig.
The Packers were 12th in the waiver position, so he would have had to clear another 20 teams. We don't know if anyone else put in a claim for him.
That was just before my time. I'm not that darn old.
He's just a name we all know. That doesn't mean he can play. The Raiders obviously didn't think he could play. Same with the Broncos.
And Shepherd and Madison and a few others.
McCray makes the minimum so it wasn't really a factor. I just don't think he was a good fit for their offense.
Plus the bonus time, which will be at least two hours. But we should be able to see a lot of other teams' cuts.
