Ant talk about Josh Jones playing ILB? Seems like a better spot for him given his pass defense liabilities and his strength playing in the box up near the los.

ILB is the most likely place they will pick up released players, lots of above what the Packers had in camp type talent, not stars, but upgrades

Hey Tom and Jim, I would think that there would be more takers for St. Brown (a team or two who liked him in the draft process) than Kumerow, though we know Kumerow could help the Pack immediately. Could they DS Kumerow, put St Brown on the active roster and then in two weeks swap the two? My thinking is that another NFL team would be less likely to pick up ESB two weeks in to the season than now. I would guess that Boyle might be a similar option: start on the 53 and then send him down when teams are comfortable with their rosters.

Rollins made himself valuable by learning safety and working as a punt returner. I think it would be a mistake to let him go.

A lot of what complicates this is not really knowing what Pettine is looking for and Gute thinks that he can swing in bringing LBs in, this time last year with Ted and Dom was a lot easier
