OK, had some glitches with SribbleLive, here's the answer for the Bulaga-Rodgers question from Bob:
OK, going to have to cut it off here, draft starts up in 3 1/2 hours and have some other things to get to. But thanks for all the thoughtful questions and sharing your opinions, very much enjoyed finding out what you're thinking. Yeah, I'd think Bulaga could be in danger of getting released if they pick a tackle today. His contract isn't a killer -- I think he's due about $6M this season -- and he's insurance at both T and G. But that's still a substantial amount of money, and he might not be ready to play until November. If the Packers feel especially good about a draft pick, maybe they'll decide it's time to move on. There's a lot at stake with the Rodgers' contract -- huge, record-setting money. So these things can take a while to work out. It's not exactly the same thing because Brees is older, but it took until the brink of free agency to get his deal done with New Orleans, and his contract was up. Rodgers has two years left, so the Packers have some leverage, which I'm sure is adding to the timeline. I'd still be shocked if it's not done by the start of the season, and I'd guess earlier than that. That does it for today's chat. Thanks again for coming by, really enjoyed it.
