Jimmy Graham is at least fast enough to outrun Jake Ryan. Second time he’s beaten the #Packers ILB deep in coverage this offseason. Still, move r caption down the seam from Aaron Rodgers. Could be seeing more of that this fall.
Davante Adams with his best catch so far, a ridiculous, OBJ-style one hander on the right sideline. Coverage from Davon House couldn’t be tighter. Adams reached out with his right hand about 20 yards downfield and plucked it light Velcro.
#Packers rookie CB Josh Jackson beat bad by fellow rookie Equanimeous St. Brown on inside move. Jackson coverage was tight off the line, but St. Brown left him flat footed. He’ll have to overcome speed disparity at next level.
Kevin King didn’t get called for it, but he grabbed Davante Adams’ shoulder in end zone before Aaron Rodgers’ pass arrived near end of 2-minute drill. Sure that’ll be disputed later, like King’s INT on Day 1. This time, offense has the better case.
#Packers S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix intercepted Aaron Rodgers to close 2-minute drill, and Clinton-Dix just got him again in team rep. Rodgers up to 7 INTs (3 today) in camp’s opening week. He might not throw that many all season.
#Packers ILB Blake Martinez said he spoke with Jake Ryan as soon as practice ended. Described Ryan as “devastated.” Described all the work Ryan put in this offseason. Martinez: “It’s just really tough.”
Some good injury news today: #Packers RB Aaron Jones said he hopes to return to practice by Thursday at latest. If there was a game today, Jones said, he would’ve played. Sounds like hamstring injury is minor.
