The Packers are having a lot of action behind the line of scrimmage and not just when Guion jumps offsides.
Lamar Miller is back as you probably noticed.
Ryan had a ton of tackles for loss at Michigan. Could at timing his run blitzes.
Seems like the #Packers are only using Clay Matthews on third down. Jake Ryan and Joe Thomas playing on early downs.
Can't give up a first down on an 8-yard run on third and 7.
Packers were in their dime defense. It's not a bad call when you think about it. Packers have six DBs in the game and no one to stop the run.
There is nothing open downfield as far as I can tell. The DBs are plastered on the receivers. The scouting report must have said to get in their faces.
The worst part is that they had Joe Thomas spying him. But Osweiler ran the other direction.
Jake Ryan limped off the field.
They're playing a lot of man coverage. It's always easier to scramble against man coverage because the DBs all have their backs to you.
Nobody seems to have very good footing, but for some reason the Packers look like they're having more trouble than the Texans.
I would have not predicted that.
Brock Osweiler has more yards rushing (20) than passing (15) at the end of the first quarter.
Trainers are looking at Jake Ryan on the bench. He looked really frustrated.
On second view of that play, Thomas' responsibility was the back, so he wasn't necessarily spying. Plus, the run came out on the other side from where he was playing. It was the rushers' fault for letting him escape.
I'd say it's 50-50 right now.
Jake Ryan is now heading to the locker room.
Burnett is having a terrific game so far. He's tackling, he's blitzing, he's picking up fumbles.
That's a huge stop for the defense.
Thomas and Clinton-Dix were in the backfield quickly, but watch how low Guion and Daniels got. Cut the legs out of the offensive line.
They can throw in this weather. They've already proved they can. I'm not sure that they won't start trying it more on this series.
It's an option. You can't live with that every down because he's not big enough to regularly take on guards. But he's a nice change of pace in there.
Well, there's your look at Christine Michael. Don't forget he was leading the Seahawks in rushing when he got cut.
Jake Ryan (ankle) is questionable to return.
It's speed. But Starks is powerful. And he has great timing. Just not today.
