He's been OK. He's the type of guy who needs to be moved into positions where he can use his speed and strength. We'll see if his assignment sureness is up to snuff when the regular season starts. Brice is one of the smarter players on defense, so they know he'll be in the right place.
Can't run laterally on kickoffs. Got to take it up the middle at some point.
Packers starting at the 12. Kizer is still the QB.
Well, if that doesn't get Kumerow a roster spot, I don't know what will.
Jake Kumerow now has touchdown receptions of 82 and 52 yards. I'd say he's pretty much made the 53-man roster.
It was an out route and he caught the ball on the sideline. The corner dove and missed but the impressive part was the run after the catch. Put a move on the safety and then just blew by everybody.
I think it will be over one of the rookies.
It would be Moore, Valdes-Scantling or Moore. You have to remember those guys are mid-to-late round picks. They're not all going to be long-time pros.
No, but I think they'll both play.
Jones with a nice hit on the sideline.
Josh Jackson on the punt return.
Pretty nice return by Jackson, but I have to tell you that was expertly blocked. About as good as you can expect in a pre-season game. The blocking unit created a perfect wall and Jackson ran around it for a 41-yard gain.
Tim Boyle is in the game. Kizer finished 7 of 12 for 149 yards and two touchdowns, 142.0 rating.
It's too early to tell. This thing has to play out over the final two games.
Packers at the Steelers 40 yard line.
