Ball is out, but Packers recovered and now there's a flag thrown.
Bad penalty by David Onyemata for pulling someone off the pile.
That's a 15-yarder that pushes the ball down to the 28. Cobb fumbled and recovered.
Looks like Jahri Evans actually recovered.
Montgomery on the field now.
Because Jones needs a rest. He can't play every play.
It's going to take awhile. It doesn't happen overnight, especially when your back is a rookie and your QB hasn't played with him much at all. It will help when they get Lane Taylor back also.
He was early on but they've been going more with Bennett and Rodgers this half.
Jones back in the game on third and 10 to start the 4th.
The corners are playing way off the receivers on third down. Adams was doubled. Nothing there.
Crosby to kick from 46 yards out.
Crosby's 46-yard field goal is good. PACKERS 17, SAINTS 16.
He has been pretty ineffective all year.
You're romanticizing the past. They never came off the field? Really? Even if it were true, they didn't play 16 games either.
They've had him active. I don't know why they don't use him, but I suspect before the year is out you'll see him.
If you said the Packers were going to only give up 16 points to the Saints before this game, you'd be happy with it. Now, the game isn't over yet, so we'll see.
Not as well as he'll probably be seeing it in a couple of weeks. Don't forget, he's not changing plays as often as Rodgers at the line of scrimmage and is still figuring out opposing personnel and who he can take advantage of and who he can't.
The New Orleans offense is really diverse. They can run from the I, they can run from shotgun, they screen well, they run a lot of misdirection, all things you can do with a veteran QB and some speed on offense.
