There definitely have been some occasions when no one was open. The time that comes to mind most was in the second quarter when they got down to the 5-yard line.
It should have been a gimmie to score there.
You don't do that to start out the game. But they're going to have to possibly do what they did against Chicago and go to base concepts.
That's true, but Rodgers has overcome that before.
He's declining for sure, but it doesn't mean he's not any good. He's 34 and every QB that age is declining. The question is can he overcome that by other means, better decisions, quicker releases ... etc...
Valdes-Scantling is the fastest receiver they've had in a long time. Jones can run. Speed isn't the issue in my opinion as much as it is experience. No Cobb, no Allison. It's going to hurt you. But they still have Adams and Graham.
Yes, I would say so. I mean, anything can happen, but they have to score a TD if they're going to rally.
I agree with you on the latter part, but I don't think Rodgers is fine. We've seen him miss too many easy throws to think he's fine. I'm not saying he's through, I'm saying he's playing like an injured quarterback.
OK, I badly need to take a break. I will be back in two minutes.
Packers will start at their own 25 after the touchback.
Looks like theyt'll go right to no huddle.
Aaron Jones is the running back.
I really think Rodgers needs to find Jones on those checkdowns after he sees his primary is covered.
Packers are in no huddle, but they did substitute after teh 23-yard completion to Adams.
They can't afford sacks and they just took one.
Looks like Adams is dealing with something on the sideline.
No one open with the three rookies on the field.
Back comes Adams and Graham. Third and 23. Need half of it back.
That might be enough for them to go for it on fourth down.
It will be fourth and 11 and the Packers will go for it.
They have no choice. Crowd is really getting into it.
Adams with the catch, but there's a penalty on the play. Looks like a hold on the Lions.
Huge first down for Adams. Ball on the 22.
Wow, Graham has to pull that down. That went through his hands.
Going to have to call a draw play here soon.
Graham made it up for it with that catch across the middle.
First and goal at the 10.
