Hello everyone, welcome to the live blog of the Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions today at Ford Field.
I don't know about the doghouse. I think they just feel he's not ready to play yet. He's got to be able to hold up against the run as well as being able to pass rush. He plays with his pads too high and needs how to learn with technique instead of just athleticism. He's not there yet.
I think we will see some double tight ends, but I also think McCarthy is going to try to hit the Lions with a quick passing game, a lot of crossing routes. The Lions like to bring a safety in the box and the fact they've been playing so poorly against the run means, they'll probably load up. Could be a big play-action day.
Adams, of course, Marquez Valdes-Scantling will play a ton. I could see Graham playing more in slot and wide positions with either Kendricks or Lewis playing also. I could also see Montgomery getting some snaps at WR.
It's a good plan. Depends on how the Lions play it to start. Might start passing and then use that to set up the run.
MVS, but not really the others. Moore has a lot to prove before he's worthy of any consideration. We'll see about EQ.
No, he didn't have a training camp. He's had like six practices since he arrived, only two of them in pads. He's going through his training camp to get himself used to contact and pads.
I agree. There was Alexander's blown coverage last week and Brice's against Minnesota, but most of the others have just been plays not made, not blown coverages. I think having Whitt in charge of the entire secondary has probably changed things a lot from last year.
Adams, of course. Then, I think it will be Moore and the EQSB.
As many as he's willing to commit.
Thanks. Yes, it was a 25-minute interview in which I gave him a chance to explain himself. I asked the questions and he answered all of them pretty honestly I thought.
I have the exact opposite opinion of him. I think he's been a shockingly good pick. He played all zone in college and a lot of people laid off him because of that. He's been a quick study and he's shown he can play man-to-man.
Groin injury. He exited in the second half last week.
It could come up again. It seems to pop up from time to time. But I'm really curious to see how Rodgers plays today. Sometimes conflict leads to both parties coming together.
Yes, I did. It was surprising. I think Rodgers' injury could be the cause of some. And maybe he's just missing passes. It does happen, just not that often with Rodgers.
I think he will definitely be in a position to do that. No question.
Believe it or not, I took the Vikings.
