Lenzy Pipkins has had a couple of nice plays on defense so far.
Fourth and 2 with 5 seconds to go and Eagles call timeout.
Dang, they're going to kick it. I thought Pederson was going to go all or nothing on this play. That would have been fun to watch.
Sturgis from 36 yards hits the right upright. No good.
PACKERS 17, EAGLES 6. HALFTIME.
No, mostly man. But they're playing a lot of press. Hawkins was right up on the receiver but he was facing the quarterback the whole time, which means it's zone.
Michael will be here as soon as he returns from somewhere.
Good question. On the depth chart it's Lucas Patrick or Justin McCray. Both are guards trying to be centers.
Definitely a big half for him. The Packers cut Jacob Flores earlier this year, so that left Linsley as the only center on the roster. Everyone else -- Barclay, Patrick, Amichia -- is converted from another position.
Lots of guys came over to pat Barclay on the helmet before he went into the locker room. That's typically a sign of a more serious injury. Not always, though.
I'm not Tom, but here's the list: Damarious Randall (evaluated for concussion), Don Barclay (ankle), Kentrell Brice (finger)
LG: Taylor, Amichia, T. Evans RG: Evans, McCray, Gray
Agreed. I have Lenzy Pipkins listed in my notebook as a player who has come out with some aggression tonight. Flying around.
Sometimes I record the podcast really late at night, so Tom and I are not together at that moment. We do the best we can.
To evaluate the young guys, yes. To get the veterans ready to play, no.
Packers play the Browns later this year. Will be interesting if Tretter and/or Linsley are healthy. Two guys who have been hurt just about every season of their careers.
I would say the stadium is about 85% full. Not bad for a Thursday night.

I totally agree. No way the Packers should have kept him for that price. However, they also should have drafted a center or brought in a couple as undrafted free agents, in my opinion.
