So far, Jamaal Williams has looked pretty good running the ball. Two carries, 9 yards.
A little quick hitting the hole there. If he's a little more patient, that cut back lane opens I think.
That was probably Hundley's best throw of the night. Nice look off of the safety and slant to Allison.
Williams just broke a tackle in the hole for a 4-yard gain.
OK, maybe we'll have a full-fledged play-off between Janis and Davis.
Nice double move on a second-year guy that didn't play last year.
The tackling has been atrocious. Davis and Janis both have touchdowns and Jamaal Williams has looked solid. Damarious Randall probably has a concussion and the No. 2 offensive line has looked good.
It is and he's gotten better at it. He tracked those two balls down in Arizona. He just doesn't play much.
I really think that one of those rookies will be getting a good share of the carries by at least mid-season. I don't know if the Montgomery experiment is going to be as successful this year as they think.
These rookies have been running backs since they were kids.
I think we're up to 6 on the missed tackles.
He's not in the game. I'll try to find out.
Looked like McGloin was trying to throw to Thomas. Another turnover.
Aaron Jones in the game now at running back.
Kentrell Brice did walk to the locker room. No announcement yet.
Jason Spriggs got beat pretty badly on that sack. Let the rookie beat him inside.
Nice escape by Hundley. I thought he could have heaved it down there and taken a chance.
I think the one to Davis was tipped by the defender, no?
Brice has a finger injury.
They didn't cut him. They didn't re-sign him in free agency. He's 32 and they want a younger guy who can get down field and cover punts.
In a regular season game, yes.
It's preseason. I've got my exhibition face on.
No, but I will be doing more analysis, some of it data driven. I'll have a column on Wednesdays looking at an aspect of the previous game that might have been overlooked.
