Lots of action toward Cook today.
Cook split out wide on third down. Single coverage.
Adams with the slant and he's wide open for the touchdown.
Adams came from the three-receiver side, he was the middle receiver.
Cobb broke across the middle and Adams gave a hard jab step outside on Diggs. He took the juke so hard, Adams had the inside wide open.
Diggs is the Lions' nickel back and the Packers are liking that matchup with Adams. No. 3 WR vs. No. 3 CB.
Not a lot. They were playing single-high coverage on that play, probably because they were worried about a draw to Lacy. That paid off with single coverage.
Someone mentioned early that they heard the Packers run a lot of isolation routes. That was a great example of how Cobb cleared out the middle and allowed Adams to use a big portion of the field.
No, they are with the wind.
Nick Perry is playing on Matthews' side and Peppers on the left side. Perry is off to a great start.
And then Perry makes a bonehead mistake. Illegal gesture. I did not see what he did.
That's a 15-yard penalty. You can't throat slash. H waved his arms and then gave the slash. Can't do that.
Regardless of his dumb penalty, Perry is playing his butt off. He's destroying Taylor Decker on that side.
Golden Tate actuall fell down on that route and got back up just in time for the throw.
Brian Price is on the field already. He's playing in the nickel on early downs with Christian Ringo to give them some bulk.
Another third down for the Lions.
The Lions are working the slants a lot. On this last one, Riddick ran a wheel route and drew man coverage with Rollins.
You can see how the Lions are going off three-step drops. They're cognizant of the Packers' rush and they're throwing on rhythm a lot. The corners are going to have to start jamming the receivers.
Decker can't hold whoever is lined up across from him. Peppers just beat him bad and Perry cleaned up for a loss.
The Packers are getting beat bad one-on-one.
Capers probably wants to blitz, but he can't with the way the secondary is covering right now.
Not sure what happened with Hyde on the pass to Ebron. Looked like he was slow to read the route.
Mike Daniels causing the flush and the Lions will try a field goal.
Prater is good from 42 yards.
Daniels ran a stunt with Perry and came absolutely free. He wasn't even blocked. Stafford did a good job of juking him. There was no one else back there to help clean up on the sack.
Yes, they should have gotten off the field. But he also was responsible for some really good plays during that drive. The secondary has to take the blame as well.
Too early to say that. Let's get through half the season before we make that declaration.
Very nice job by Montgomery on that. If the returner is out of bounds and he fields it, it's out of bounds. We've seen that before where the guy puts one foot out of bounds and fields it. Montgomery went to Stanford.
