I thnk they'll motion him out of the backfield some today. I also wouldn't be surprised to see some two-back looks where the Cowboys are forced to go base defense and then Montgomery either leaks out or he motions out and tries to create a bad matchup.
Yes, I think he will. As we've seen all year, you can't assume everyone is going to be healthy. You don't give away players who are as talented as Cobb. He just needs to produce better.
Not sure about that. They sure seem ready to me.
I'm not really into that. I've interviewed Troy Aikman a lot and he has never been anything but gracious and insightful. I don't know Joe Buck. He's not my favorite broadcaster for any sport. But I don't hate either of them.
I don't know about that. If they play in the Super Bowl, he'd basically have had a month to recover. We don't know the extent of the injury so it's hard to say. But I do know it's a very painful injury. I don't think he could be expected to play one week after suffering the injury
No, but he put out a good spread for us.
He's going to be counted upon, that's for sure. He'll probably be the guy with the best matchup most of the time. I expect to see Janis play some also, maybe even a little Trevor Davis, just to take a shot down the field.
No evidence that I've seen. It doesn't mean it won't happen.
Sure. If they play disciplined and hold Elliott from going crazy, they could do it. They just have to avoid the big plays that seem to kill them. Make the Cowboys work for it.
It can be. But you generally can only do that on third down. The Packers have to run the ball and get themselves in down and distances where passing isn't the only option. If you're running the ball, a tem can't drop eight all the time. It has to play the run.
He could. Don't forget what Adam Theilen did to the Packers. That's a pretty god indicator of what might happen if you leave a quick slot guy covered man to man.
I think they'll cover him based on what side he lines up on. So Randall and Gunter. When he's in the slot, Hyde might cover him, but you can bet he'll have help.
I'll tell McCarthy to work on that. But they should start faster than the Cowboys today. The Cowboys havent' played for two weeks.
Here's another option I envision with Witten. I could see them drop their outside linebacker and have him cover Witten. He's not the player he used to be. Maybe that allows Burnett to play in the box.
Morris Claiborne is the guy to watch. He's been hurt a lot of the year and he's back. Orlando Scandrick has been their best corner, but when Claiborne is on, he's very good. Watch for Anthony Brown, their rookie corner, too. He's been playing really well.
Possibly. But you can't waste too many snaps on guys who haven't produced. But I do think they'll sneak him in on offense for a play or two.
