No, unless it's a run play or incidental. You can't target the head.
Our first Fire Capers post (well, second actually).
That double fake was almost a disaster. Rodgers nearly got crushed. But it led to Kendricks getting wide open in the end zone for the TD.
I guess it was only one fake, but it was one really long, drawn out fake.
I think that's what allowed Kendricks to get open.
Those days are long gone.
Dismantling would mean cleaning house. It would mean starting over. Thompson made two calculated decisions, cutting loose older players for various reasons. I do think the Lang decision wasn't a good one and they're going to miss him. But I hardly call that dismantling. They weren't going to be able to re-sign Tretter to be a backup. Not for that money.
Capers is sticking with his four safety look.
At some point, I think he's going to have to bring some heat. Nobody is getting close to Dalton at all.
Have not seen Quinten Rollins in the game at all. Josh Hawkins is playing ahead of him.
Josh Jones has two pretty nice tackles in the run game so far. His pass coverage has been suspect, but he's an asset near the line of scrimmage.
Packers are in dime on third and 8.
There's the blitz. Jones and Burnett meet at Dalton for the sack. I'm surprised Capers waited until third down to bring the heat, but it worked whatever the case.
