Greetings everyone, welcome to the live blog of Packers vs. Bills. It's cloudy and chilly here at Lambeau Field, but it's not raining and the field looks good.
Today's captains are: TE Jimmy Graham, CB Tramon Williams and K Mason Crosby.
Where are all my peeps? Someone post so I know this thing is working!
If you're posting and it's not getting through, hit me up on Twitter (@tomsilverstein) so I know.
I understand the comments are not posting and I'm having someone look into it as we speak. Hang tight and we'll get this thing fixed.
If you post questions on Twitter, I'll answer them here, at least until we get this fixed.
We are contacting the service that hosts the blog.. We should have a solution shortly.
I would say that Valdes-Scantling will get the majority. I do wonder if they might use Robert Tonyan a little as a slot receiver. But more than likely Graham will see a lot of time split out and they might go double tight end with Kendricks or Lewis.
I sort of got that feeling. I mean it was pretty odd that Minnesota got blown out like that at home. I still think Green Bay is a better team than Washington. But they didn't play like it and all we can do is take it for face value. Let's see what happens today.
I think we'll see more today, especially with Cobb out. Graham can fill some of those slot reps and they can go with another tight end. As for double-tight end formations, they've done that some. I think they try to get the run game going today and so we might see Lewis a little more early.
I don't think so. Montgomery might get some time as a second back and then go in motion though.
He's going to play, but I think they'll be cautious with him. He hasn't practice much this season and he has shown he's not always in tune with the defense. But I could see them definitely mixing him in where they were playing Whitehead.
I don't think you're over-reacting. It's definitely concerning. The guy has to show he can stay on the field. We know he's had one shoulder operated on and he has another shoulder that isn't 100%. Now it's a groin. Not good.
I would say more reps, but I don't know about touches. I'm interested to see how they cover Graham.
Yes. He's completely new to the system, had no training camp and got in two days of real practice. Could be another week or so before he's ready to do anything.
Not if he was going to play like last week. But in general, yes. He's a go-to guy for Rodgers on scrambles and he's a reliable punt returner.
Good question. Jaire Alexander is a possibility. So is Tramon Williams. I would bet Alexander.
It would be Lucas Patrick. They could put Jason Spriggs in there.
It must be better because he practiced on Thursday. I'm guessing as long as he doesn't get it bent in awkward positions, it's going to get better week to week. We'll see how he looks today.
I'm still here!! Just hit me through Twitter if you can. Otherwise, I'll try to post as though you guys were sending me 9,000 posts as usual.
I might be nuts, but I think McCarthy might try to establish the run today. I'm nuts.
National anthem, hang on.
That's a good question. I'm going to put the over-under at 15.
It's 49 degrees, wind is at 9. Could warm up all the way to 52.
