Hello everyone, welcome to Thursday night football, a match-up of the walking wounded between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
It's a beautiful night. A little chilly, but it's clear, the football field looks great and the fans are starting to fill in to the stadium.
I'll be here to answer questions, provide analysis and wonder what it would have been like if there weren't a dozen or more significant players for both sides out tonight.
I actually think Don Jackson could be a factor tonight. I wouldn't write him off as someone who can't help the offense. I do think McCarthy will go with a lot of five wides to try to take advantage of Chicago's lack of depth in the secondary and I think the pass rush will be active tonight.
He injured his ankle on one of the final plays of the Jacksonville game last week.
Are, Zeke. Are. There are a good number from what I can see.
The Packers look like they're in a Mr. Clean ad.
Yeah, but I'm not sure all of them are football players.
It doesn't help not having a guy who can draw the interest of the defense, but maybe now they just admit they're a spread team and throw, throw, throw.
You guys know I'm a grammar snob. If you didn't know, well, I'm a grammar snob. I apologize ahead of time.
I think there's a good chance he'll get a shot returning kickoffs. It's not like they need to replace Montgomery and Janis, but I could see them giving him a chance. He's probably very eager to prove himself.
It would help to win the field position battle. Sure would make it easier on the offense. We'll see. There's so many guys hurt, I don't know who's going to be playing where on special teams.
I need to see them a little bit more. I'm going to go with a 3/4 up because I can see the numbers easier on these uniforms.
I am honored Corey. I will do all I can to keep you informed and entertained. Enjoy your peanuts.
Hurt his thigh on special teams last week.
Absolutely. I'd go max protect and let Jeffrey go nuts. Problem is that the Bears have to protect Hoyer. The one thing the Packers still have going for them is a pass rush.
I believe there might have been bone spurs or chips or something like that.
