Fair. This is a game the offense needs to continue scoring...
Thanks for letting me entertain you for a bit. I'm going to go out-coffee-drink Tom the rest of this half.
Antonio Morrison with another special teams penalty. Luckily for him, the 49ers declined.
Jones is the back to start out.
Would have probably been the same result, a touchback.
I think that was two straight runs.
Bryan Bulaga is out of the game with a shoulder injury and is questionable. Byron Bell has moved to tackle and Lucas Patrick is in at guard.
Packers are on the move after a 30-yarder to MVS.
Third and 10 and barely in field goal range now.
Rodgers gets hit as he throws and misses Jimmy Graham. Didn't matter. He wasn't open.
Crosby will attempt a 51-yard field goal. It's good.
After going 1 of 4 on field goals in Detroit, Mason Crosby is now 3 of 3 tonight: 29, 39, 51.
Packers are 0-6 on third downs tonight and somehow only trail 24-23.
They don't blitz him very much. They haven't blitzed him hardly at all this season The 49ers are sending players from different directions, but they're not sending massive amounts of rushers.
He got the 49ers to show what they were going to do. Whether he changed the play, I don't know.
It hurts, of course. That's two of their three best receivers. But it shouldn't handcuff them the way it has. MVS has been very good and Graham has had a few big catches tonight.
They just have no rhythm on offense. No consistency.
Goodwin is just killing the Packers. No one can cover him. This is his first game back from injury and he looks too hot for anyone on the Packers to handle.
Wow, did Garcon make Matthews look old on that play. Any coach who saw that has to be drooling over getting Matthews in single coverage.
Don't forget, that was Pierre Garcon, not Goodwin.
It was a zone blitz and he was the guy dropping out.
It was really sloppy on his part. How about breaking down and setting up to make the tackle instead of running in like a wild bull.
