These kind of mistakes are just endemic for McCarthy teams. They seem to happen in the worst times.
Say what you will about injuries and the rest, but this team had a chance this season if it doesn't run out a kickoff in LA and rough the punter in NE and not fair catch a punt in Minn.
I do think the Packers' season is over and McCarthy can't feel good about his future.
Calling timeouts at this point isn't going to help.
I'm also starting to doubt the Packers could have won in LA with 2 minutes left. The offense hasn't showed me it could do it.
Josh Jackson is out of the game and Tony Brown is in.
Brown with actually solid coverage there, but Diggs can't hold on.
Cousins comes up short on the scramble. Vikings might as well go for this, since it's a two-score game whether they get stopped or kick a field goal.
Gilbert with a smart play, anticipating the slant to Diggs.
I can't see the Packers scoring quickly, not with the Vikings playing their DBs deep.
David Bakhtiari is out of the game again and Jason Spriggs is at left tackle.
And we'll see if he can do anything with it.
Can't really throw the ball way down the field. Someone is going to have to make a catch and run for a big play.
Graham comes up with a nice catch for 25. Vikings are in Cover 2, so the middle should be open.
I don't understand why he doesn't just throw that thing in the dirt right in front of Jones.
That's a heck of a throw and Xavier Rhodes is down.
Vikings could challenge that, but I don't think they'd win.
Rhodes looked like he pulled a hamstring.
So that's a 36-yard gain. Packers have it first and 10 at the 29 with 2:38 left.
The line did a nice job picking up that rush. The Vikings were threatening blitzes from everywhere.
Vikings are in single safety.
They're going to have to run it here.
Or take a shot in the end zone.
There it is and Rodgers overthrows Adams by a few inches.
