Hello everyone, welcome to the LA Coliseum, where it's a beautiful day for football and the press box windows are open.
Quite a contingent of Packers fans here as is always the case in California. The stadium is still pretty empty because it takes awhile for people to file in here - and it is California after all.
I think it will be something like Rams 31, Packers 27.
As I told my colleague, Jim, this is going to be the most enjoyable 3 hours I'll have all year covering a game. It feels like I'm at the beach.
Yes, he is. With Alexander back and King healthy, they're going to go with the young guys.
There's no concrete evidence to say they can, but I will note that the Rams have gotten a ton of yards lately but they haven't been unstoppable. Denver held them 23, the 49ers played them tough and would have been in the game except for turnovers. I think Pettine has to get aggressive with the Rams' receivers and make Goff hold onto the ball.
I did. I decided no more back and forths with angry contributors. We're about good, insightful discussion here, not about venting. There are message boards for that. Let's tell it like it is without kicking the dog.
Yeah, I'm curious why he's inactive. He's been the emergency backup of late and looked like he was healthy this past week.
Yeah, it doesn't look real good. USC played ASU here last night and you can still see the painting from the college field. The field looks chewed up, too.
Not yet. As soon as I see him come out, I'll let you know.
Maybe. But he's always a concussion away from a serious injury. I just hope it never happens.
It's fine as long as you keep getting first downs, but you don't want to go three and out and give the Rams the ball after short rests. You really want to keep that offense off the field. I think some no huddle is good, but maybe just a muddle huddle to keep the Rams from substituting.
It's too early to say that. It isn't too early to say there are dangers of things falling apart if the Packers get blown out today.
Well, I know it's a pass if it's an empty backfield. But with all this RPO stuff, I can't really tell you what the play is going to look like.
I don't see why not, but Zook might want to stick with Williams.
