Hello everyone, welcome to the JSOnline and PackersNews live blog from MetLife Stadium.
It's a really nice day here in New Jersey. Perfect for a game that means nothing in the standings.
I think we'll see Jamaal Williams and then Jamaal Williams and then a little more Jamaal Williams.
If I'm Brian Gutekunst, I urge Philbin to get him in at some point. You've got to find out what you've got.
I would actually rather see Boyle than Kizer. I think he has more promise and will push to be the backup next year.
Yeah, I think Tonyan will see a lot of time. Same with Oren Burks and Tony Brown. Maybe J'Mon Moore.
No question. I was just telling a New York writer that they were in every game on the road except the Washington game. They had legitimate chances to win every single one of those and should have won against LA and Seattle.,
Well, Nick Perry is not playing his final game. Randall Cobb is probably not playing his final game. Mo Wilkerson is not playing his final game. Those are a few.
There's not many of anybody out there today. But of those 3,000 fans that are actually in their seats a lot of them are wearing Packers gear. A ton of cheeseheads in the stands. Not sure if there was a holiday sale or what.
It seems that way. I can't say that's the case for sure, but when you start putting 2 and 2 together, it seems that way.
Rodgers needs to maintain credibility in the locker room. There are a lot of guys playing hurt and he needs to be out there with them.
Good question. My guess is Josh Jackson.
Probably not. Keep him around because he's not making that much money and can be an acceptable backup. Maybe it all clicks for him. He did put on a ton of weight in the off-season and I'm not sure he ever got used to that. Another year might help him out. But I would keep him.
No, but we've seen some moves today that affect the search. John Harbaugh re-signed, Ron Rivera is safe. Vance Joseph will be fired.
It was a miserable way to finish the season and they need to finish this one strong. But we certainly could see another miserable finish.
That's a bit strong. I don't think he's poison. I just think the coach needs to take some of the presence away from him. Make it appear it's Rodgers' team, but it's really the coach's team.
Yes, definitely. The personnel department will be looking at tape to see if anybody loafed or tried to play not to get hurt.
