In the NFL, players don't respond to that rah-rah stuff. What they need are corrections and adjustments. He and Capers better come up with something to turn this game around. Or the season is over.
Do you really think he'd answer my questions with any substance? Unfortunately, not.
I think Williams definitely has put pressure on Hundley's decision-making ability. The fact the Packers can't run the ball is killing them. It's putting all the pressure on Hundley. This is a good defense. They've played in a lot of close games.
He's home resting that knee.
Carolina has to lose, Seattle losing would be ideal. Those are the two teams who play today who matter if the Packers can somehow win this game.
Defensively, I don't know what you can do playing with safeties and a one-shouldered corner. I think I would replace House with Hawkins, I'd start bringing Josh Jones up to the line of scrimmage and threaten blitz with him and I'd put Morgan Burnett back deep and play Randall, House and Hawkins in the nickel.
Offensively, they have to find a way to run the ball. Try some power run plays and a little read option.
OK, going to get some coffee. Be right back.
Burnett is back in deep safety position
That's a change. Now they'll bring in Josh Jones. Let's see where they play him.
Huge play by Damarious Randall on Gordon. Excellent coverage.
Trevor Davis back for the punt.
The Packers need a grind-it-out drive where they can wear the defense out a little bit.
Kizer is now 15 of 19 for 174 yards and 2 TDs with an interception, 118 rating.
No, he has not been made available to us.
8 of 13 for 80 yards and a TD, 104.6 rating.
Jamaal Williams will start the half in the backfield.
Well, getting the ball in Adams' hands is a good plan.
Hundley has Kendricks wide open on a slant and he sails it. That's a huge miss.
