What Jerry Jones wants, he gets. He's the league. He negotiated the TV deals, he started the stadium craze, he's the big cheese.
Hayward is playing in a system that fits him. He's a zone corner. The Packers couldn't change their defense just for him. He's flourishing in a zone system. Hyde has the picks, but he also can't play in man. You saw him last year in single coverage. Brilliant player, but not a great athlete. Peppers is doing great and should have been re-signed. But I think he wanted to go back to Carolina to play his final year.
Nah, it's because they can save some money by not signing anybody. Whoever it was, would have been inactive so they're being cheap and not filling the spot until next week.
Good luck and I hope a lot of money is raised.
I agree. That was a crime. They can't take him off the field. The ball needs to be in his hands.
That's something where you totally have to read the receiver. Adams was saying this week that Rodgers was the best at picking up cues on what the receiver was going to do, reading his every move. Hundley isn't there.
I think you have to be patient with Hundley. You can't expect him to blow up the league after three games. He's in the same boat as Mitch Trubisky. He's practiced for three years, but it's totally different playing. He needs to show improvement though. He needs to show it today.
I think they'll try to run the ball a little more and maybe open things up with the deep ball. They've got to make some big plays. There are some to be made in the Chicago secondary.
I always lean toward a nap, but you've got a chance to be a factor in the blog. Go for it.
They're hoping. I just don't know if his back is going to hold up. I'm looking for Biegel to play a lot more today. Chris Odom is inactive and Biegel should play more.
I have a feeling this will be a receiver game for the Packers. Lots of stress on the secondary and then run it from spread, especially with Trevathan out.
No. They'll move one or ask for a pay cut I would imagine. That's too much to have tied up in one position other than defensive line.
Yes. If Hundley is just awful, they have to go to him.
Who are the rookies that are doing so well. Goff and Wentz were the top two picks in the draft. There's a reason they went there and Hundley went in the fifth. They should be way ahead of him. Minnesota is winning with its defense and a quarterback who tries not to make a lot of mistakes.
Footwork, timing. He really needs to clean that up. It's obvious it's a new skill for him. They must have never done that at UCLA.
Read my story this morning. I detailed the whole thing.
Sometimes it is and should be dumbed down.
OK, hang on, national anthem.
