The question of the day: Can he match the blog's intensity?
If they run the table, it's pretty high. Maybe in the 90s.
They'll have plenty of cap room next year. They'll probably gain some when they rework Rodgers' deal. So, I think they'll make a decision based on value with their receivers rather than cap room. They absolutely have to re-sign Adams and will probably franchise him if they can't sign him. Then it's a matter of deciding if Cobb and Nelson are worth $10M a year. And who do you have to replace them?
Top 25%. Fans want him gone, but if he left you'd find out quickly what you had.
Not really. They've been fazing him out. It was a coach's decision. Shaq Thompson is a bigger loss. He's been playing a big nickel position where he serves more like a safety.
It should be a good one. If the Packers want to think of themselves as an elite line then they have to keep Rodgers clean. Now, it's not their fault if he's scrambling all over the place and getting sacked. But they have to give him some time and also clear some holes. They need Aaron Jones to have a couple of big runs.
OK, everyone please excuse me, national anthem. BRB.
No, I don't. Not with Perry back.
Good question. I think they need to bring some heat against Newton. He's not good against the blitz. But you have to be very careful that you stay in your rush lanes and don't let him leak out. But yes, they should be more aggressive.
I'll still go with Davante Adams.
Inexperience I think. He needs to get stronger, but I don't think it's the main reason he has had some blips run blocking.
We'll see Damarious Randall match up with Devin Funchess I'm sure. Then Josh Hawkins will be outside against Russell Shepard. Morgan Burnett is going to have to spend a lot of time on Greg Olsen.
Adans earned himself some money by staying productive while Hundley was playing. Hundley didn't do anything I think to make someone want him as a starter.
Yes, I think we'll see them for both sides. McCaffrey's a great outlet for screens. The screen game depends on teams being ultra-aggressive and playing a lot of man to man where corners have their backs to the play and safeties are deep.
Last week was his first week back and I know he was in and out of the game. I'll bet he's better this week. I think he was just getting used to playing after being out with that foot injury so long.
I think it was a message that McCarthy spread early in the week. The team has to raise its level of play or they are going nowhere, Rodgers or not.
Seems to be good, but it's a four-quarter game. Don't let up.
