That didn't get blocked. In fact if he doesn't hit it so funky I'm not sure it gets through there. Would have been blocked.
He's certainly showing the ability to play that way. He doesn't have Johnson's speed, but you can see he's versatile and tough to tackle.
Bears call timeout with the ball at the 36 and 11 seconds left.
OK, one more shot for the Bears here.
Actually, ,you want him playing soft there. You don't want the ball getting behind you with 5 seconds left. The Bears are going to kick a field goal from there.
Dorleant well-taught on the Hail Mary. One of the few guys who knows what to do. Knock it down.
Still almost made it close, but Hyde was there.
So, he was determined not to let Jordan Howard beat him in the first half. That was accomplished. But I'm sure he thought his pass rush would be a lot better than its been. The one thing the defense can't allow is big plays. They have to make the Bears grind it out. But while they're doing that, ,they need to get a sack once in awhile. That's what is missing.
OK, here comes Michael Cohen.
Matt Barkley played a tremendous first half. Take away that last meaningless INT and his numbers are 12/15 for 162 yards and 1 TD. Rodgers is 12/19 for 139 yards.
Agreed. Has to make that catch 10 times out of 10. Way too easy. Nelson also had a shot at the deep pass down the left side. His was tougher, though.
Agreed. He's been so sure-handed his whole career. It's surprising to see him drop any.
That definitely hasn't happened much this season. I can only think of one, though I may be forgetting. Teams seem more disciplined than last year.
If the Packers win today and the Vikings lose, the Vikings can still pass the Packers in the division standings by winning next week at Lambeau Field. So they're not out of it.
Lots of penalties, and many of them happen to be on young players. Hawkins, Brice, Martinez have all been flagged a few times this season. They're all rookies.
