I'm not sure I get that. I guess they were worried about kicking into the wind.
Let's face it, you rely on rookies in key positions and this is what happens.
Apparently for Washington's kicker Dustin Hopkins.
Packers have 32 seconds. They have one timeout.
Low snap from Linsley and down goes Rodgers. They might as well let the clock run down and go into the locker room.
Bakhtiari seems to have hurt his leg as well.
Not a good way to end the half.
I guess, but I'm not sure that would make a huge difference. Linsley has never played guard.
OK, I'm turning it over to Michael Cohen. See you in a few.
The injury to Goodson might be offset by the return of Damarious Randall. He's started practicing in a limited role and should be back soon. He seems to be a little ahead of schedule.
I think each team has some concerning items to address: The Packers can't cover Jordan Reed at all, so he's carving up the middle of the field. Washington started very strong on defense but got progressively worse as the half went on.
I think the Perillo move is purely an injury decision. With Jake Ryan out -- and Martinez indicated it might be serious -- the Packers had only two ILBs left on the active roster. Adding Carl Bradford gave them depth at an already thin position.
Murphy came in as a tackle, and I believe that's where he's taking reps in practice. I don't think he's ready at this point. As for Herb Waters, I honestly have no idea.
Micah Hyde really struggled covering TEs last season. I can think of at least three or four games where he had problems. Those issues sort of faded this year, although he got beat a couple times tonight. He struggles against players with speed.
I've seen a couple formations with Davis on the field but not many. I'm surprised he's not playing more as well.
I was talking about bodies, yes. Bradford can give you something on special teams. I'm not sure what he can offer from scrimmage at inside linebacker.
John, my friend, you are correct.
It does seem like Gunter and Rollins were giving big cushions. Not surprising with Rollins since he likes to play off coverage. But Gunter likes to jam at the line. That's not typical for him.
Shields is eligible to return in Week 15. That doesn't mean he is definitely coming back this year.
