If you saw that replay, I'm not sure where Clinton-Dix was going. Looked like he should have been over the top of Jackson.
Did Richard Rodgers just break a tackle???
Packers are 0-3 on third down.
Montgomery is their temporary answer to their problems. They have to feed this guy constantly.
I guess a little competition from Jared Cook did something for Richard Rodgers.
The Packers are pretty much limited to the middle and left because Norman has taken Nelson out of the game.
Starks did a nice job getting something out of that. Looked like a big loss.
End of the first quarter.
They're basically lining Nelson up wide and trying to create plays over the middle and to the left. Seems to me they should exploit the area underneath where Nelson is taking Norman. Have Nelson run deep and run some routes into the right flat.
They're going to have to do that at some point.
I don't see him being looked at. It's really hard to tell who's standing on the sideline because they all have those jackets on
There's Nelson on the other side. Washington is not bringing Norman over to cover Nelson wherever he goes.
Third and short, empty backfield.
And we have a delay of game. Wow. That can't happen.
Now Montgomery is in the backfield.
Deflected pass makes it third and 7. I think they need to punt this, but McCarthy is going for it.
Flag is down in the secondary.
It was thrown out by Davante Adams.
Illegal use of the hands, hands to the face, so Packers get lucky and get a first down.
I really think they can get something going running the ball if they'd stick with it. The line is run blocking better than it is pass blocking.
Cook lined up against Norman here.
This team just doesn't have it.
Starks is close to the first down, but 2 yards short.
They're going to go for it again.
That was a really nicely designed play and if Rodgers could have gotten rid of the ball to Nelson it would have gone a long way. Insteaad, Rodgers makes something out of it anyway.
Nelson was wide open on that, but Rodgers had a guy in his face and couldn't throw it.
Nice little screen play to Jared Cook for a first down. Packers are inside the 10.
Good place for a draw play.
