I do think Biegel could play inside. But they haven't tried him there. Not sure if they will if he makes it
Yes, they receive a plane ticket home.
Cornerback Donatello Brown has been released by the club.
Every player with fewer than four years of experience is subject to waivers. They would have to put in a waiver claim and find out tomorrow at noon whether they got him.
Brown is practice squad eligible, should that be a conversation the club wants to have with him.
I will have a link to our list of players we know have been cut very shortly.
Raiders probably got better first-rounders from Bears than Packers. At least that's what the odds would say until Trubisky turns that offense around.
Yes. And cut someone else.
@GBCheese - honestly? Probably not. But I'm one of "those" guys who would always take the proven commodity over projection. One to three years of healthy Khalil Mack > unknown draft picks, to me. But then again, I don't run teams :D
It depends on how many games you've been active for and how many years you've been in the league. I'll try to find the rules on it and post it.
They won't find a tackle that can help them right away. Those guys are guarded like gold bricks. Pass rushers aren't easy to find either. They might find an outside linebacker but he's probably not going to be a proven rusher. Those are too valuable.
No, I don't think they'll do anything drastic.
Well, he was part of those drafts, so he has some coin in the game, too. If I had to guess, I'd say they keep Fackrell. We'll see.
@COPackFan - I'd agree with Tom on that, but he also shipped off Hundley in favor of the QB he traded for. So while he had a say in those previous drafts, he'll shape this roster (and the ones in the future) in his vision.
@Shawn - Hill, Brown, Odom, Porter
I think he's a guy they could try releasing if they intend on keeping Trevor Davis. He didn't do anything spectacular, but he was solid all through camp.
I'm sure they've inquired. But what is it going to cost them, is he healthy, etc...
No, I don't think so. They'll take the guy who they think offers the best short and long-term value.
