I'll answer you Bill. Teams usually "stash" 1-2 truly developmental guys on their inactive seven. It's not unheard of. Now, three quarterbacks this day and age is a bit strange. But having watched Boyle this preseason - he's worth the stash for now.
It's starting to look like the second backup tackle is going to be Alex Light, the undrafted free agent from Richmond.
Yes, I was just thinking about that. He mentioned him unsolicited, which is usually a sign there's something there.
Thank Ryan Wood, too. He was busy uncovering many of the cuts.
No, I think they'll waive him injured.
It's possible, that's for sure.
It's 3:04. Do you know where your cuts are?
I'm not sure he is, but we'll see.
Not really. I thought that was a possibility.
No, it means they have to wait three weeks after he becomes healthy.
Jake Kumerow was not informed he was being released or put on IR, so right now he's a Green Bay Packer.
I think that he's going to explore all options, but he's going to side with his draft picks in most cases.
By the way, it's not a big surprise, but you can count on Tim Boyle being on the 53-[man roster.
Could be they put Kumerow on IR - designated to return tomorrow.
James Crawford, I would say. Didn't think much about him at all. But I forgot he had a terrific game on special teams Thursday night. Made a huge hit on a kickoff/punt.
Yes, there are some we don't know about.
