Good question. I think he would prefer to stay in the NFL.
I have not heard of any other live blogs. I'm pretty proud of that. But other newspapers don't have the educated and interested readership we do. So pat yourselves on the back.
I am going to have to respectfully disagree.
Welcome! I think they'll go with three or four. Ryan, Martinez and Thomas and then Tripp is the variable, whether they put him on IR or carry him.
I'd have to think McCray or Patrick will make it until Barclay comes back.
You can see flashes, but that concussion he suffered set him back in camp. He needs a year of being on the practice squad before he can be fully evaluated. He needs work in the weight room.
I doubt he makes the 53. We'll see about the practice squad.
Excellent question. I'm going to lean toward quarterbacks. It's the most important position in the game.
It was not a great draft for offensive linemen. It was a really deep draft for receivers. Sometimes you have to draft what's available. Their priority was DBs and while they were drafting those all the OL were gone.
Not officially, but he'll make it. It's not even a question.
All indications are he will be. If he's not, Kyle Murphy would be the starter. It would be a challenge for him going against Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett, but he's the best option they have.
I would guess he won't be ready for the opener. Probably the week after that.
Yes. Typically, they meet with McCarthy or their position coach and they talk about what the player could have done better or whether they think they should keep trying to make it in the NFL.
I would bet we'll know by around 5:30.
They wanted to see what he could do at corner. That's his natural position. Now that he's played well in the slot, safety could be an option. But they don't need any more safeties. And you always need corners.
LOL. I am going to have to eat breakfast at some point.
Spriggs. I wouldn't go with Barkley there. I don't think he's athletic enough to play LT.
