Valdes-Scantling does. I wouldn't say that about Moore.
Seriously, we'll be writing about that everyday. It will be like being in a fishbowl for those two guys.
So, we're into the sixth now. Packers will be up again near the end of the round.
If I'm Vogel I ask for my release.
No, I was commenting on someone saying it's hard to imagine the Packers cutting a punter taken in the fifth round.
Scott had net averages of 42.3, 43.9, 40.2 and 46.4.
He had 90 punts of 50 or more yards (out of 243).
Averaged 63.2 on kickoffs as a senior with 45 touchbacks on 69 attempts.
He had only five punts returned for 36 yards as a senior.
JK Scott is on the conference call:
JK Scott: I had no idea what to expect. None of the teams were telling me where I would go. Went into the process, hoping for the best.
JK Scott: Going into senior year, we decided to make an adjustment on hang-time. Year before I had a lot of long punts but not much hang time.
JK Scott: Its been a great opportunity to play at Alabama. I've played in three national championship games. It's definitely helped me to prepare for any situation.
JK Scott on tendinits in knees: Knees got worse and worrse and worse, But got with a trainer who works with NBA and slowly it just came back.
JK Scott: It was both knees.
JK Scott: We have a lake house near Hayward and I've always told Ha Ha we should hang out therer.
JK Scott: This lake house has been in our family since my dad was a kid. About 50 years. We used to go up every single summer from May to August. My grandmother lives in Madison. That's where my dad grew up. We were big Packers fans growing up. It's crazy. We probably have 10 cheeseheads at home. We were big Brett Favre fans. We only got to watch one game.
JK Scott's dad is King Scott who pole-vaulted at Wisconsin. Went to high school at Madison West.
JK Scott: I don't come off the ground because I don't need to because my leg comes so high. Having long legs gives me a lot of leverage. My style is kind of unique compared to current punters right now.
