Yep everybody two CB's. Did you see our pass defense last year?
by Derek4/28/2018 12:06:34 AM
His nickname should be pick 6. He hurt the badgers but that’s not saying much
by Jjnads4/28/2018 12:06:36 AM
Can he rush the passer???
by Teddy'sShadow4/28/2018 12:06:58 AM
Iowa players are hard nosed and usually GB picks the right ones. Ok with the pick
by Erniebanks4/28/2018 12:07:02 AM
Nice pick but now need that 3rd round rusher or guard. 2 x4th rounder to move up
by What about Sweat Tom?4/28/2018 12:07:04 AM
by Bondo4/28/2018 12:07:05 AM
So who will be the third cb - he’ll be there the keeper
by AKPackFan4/28/2018 12:07:08 AM
Another 1-2 cb draft . At least they both play cb at a high level
by Harry4/28/2018 12:07:09 AM
You take a clone if T Buck Now you take a slow corner who can’t tackle
by Mike4/28/2018 12:07:12 AM
Well BG has one thing in common with TT. Neither one make an OLB edge rusher a priority.
by jrff4/28/2018 12:07:17 AM
Two CBs and no pick until tomorrow
by Old jeff4/28/2018 12:07:17 AM
Time will tell.......better than we had thus year
by JF4/28/2018 12:07:23 AM
Got to get into the 3rd round for a WR
by JT4/28/2018 12:07:31 AM
For what it's worth, the analysits seem to love it.
by email@example.com/28/2018 12:07:31 AM
There are some good third day wide rcvrs. Don't panic.
by eddiemathews4/28/2018 12:07:34 AM
I like our 2nd round better than the 1st!
by DL4/28/2018 12:07:37 AM
The best CBs in the world can't cover long enough when you have zero pass rush.
by DaveRoller4/28/2018 12:07:37 AM
Love Jerry Kramer giving it to the Cowboys fans. Would have liked to see them get the OT. I think Packers have overlooked the o line in recent years.
by MJ4/28/2018 12:07:40 AM
why -- if he does not tackle and is only good in zone which is not pettine
by jj4/28/2018 12:07:41 AM
We now have a solid great backfield ....and a solid front D line. We just stink at LB
by Dagger4/28/2018 12:07:42 AM
Not thrilled with the pick- I have never seen it mentioned but given his ball skills could he play safety?
by steve4/28/2018 12:07:44 AM
Bye bye Hawkins, Rollins, and maybe House?
by MikeB4/28/2018 12:07:51 AM
I hope this works better than drafting Randal and Rollins back to back
by Bryan4/28/2018 12:07:53 AM
defense wins championships... i like it!
by ejak4/28/2018 12:07:55 AM
i guess you have your 3 CB's for the next 4-5 years if they all pan out
by FLPackerfan4/28/2018 12:07:58 AM
Enormous INT against Ohio St. won the game on the first drive
by Mike from Cincy 4/28/2018 12:08:01 AM
The clowns have come out to play - they all have 'terrible pick' ready to post before the pick
by Pete4/28/2018 12:08:03 AM
Jackson killed the Badgers last year, nice to have him!!
by EDinGA4/28/2018 12:08:08 AM
Daniels will love this pick
by Matt4/28/2018 12:08:19 AM
Mr. Hyde the second!
by SAid4/28/2018 12:08:21 AM
These two CBs are much better than a bunch of basketball players turned to football. Good move. You can always get good WRs in Round 3 or 4.
by Devo4/28/2018 12:08:29 AM
Need too many other things to double up on CBs. No pass rush, no speedy WR and holes on the OL.
by DC in St Pete4/28/2018 12:08:36 AM
Packers under Pettine will be playing 50 cent D on 3rd down this year instead of dime.
by Tom from CA4/28/2018 12:08:46 AM
Come on people, the guy is a ball hawk, many scouts thought he would go in first round...this is a good pick.
by firstname.lastname@example.org/28/2018 12:08:47 AM
Our secondary has been SOOOOOOOO bad, you really can't blame Gute. Two ballhawk's, I'll take that.
by KnoxPacker4/28/2018 12:08:50 AM
The D starts with the rush followed by quality LBs. We had no rush. LBs are slow and cannot cover. I don’t care how many DBs you draft....without a rush and LBs you got nothing. We have another TT in the house. Pathetic.
by Larry4/28/2018 12:08:57 AM
How many DB's has GB taken the last 3 yrs? My husband says if you throw enough sh** against the wall somethings gotta stick.
by LeeAnn4/28/2018 12:09:09 AM
Wow...Gutey is hitting grand slam home runs in his first draft...1st round next year and 2 top 5 CBs. I’m very impressed
by Tamps4/28/2018 12:09:13 AM
ProFootballFocus said: Iowa’s Josh Jackson broke out with a huge season in 2017, not just leading all corners in overall PFF grade in 2017, but he had the highest grade we have seen from any of the corners in this class across their entire college careers. He allowed an NFL passer rating of just 36.5 when targeted on 91 passes, a lower mark than if the quarterback had just thrown the ball at the dirt every play instead. He is also extremely young at the position, having only moved to corner in 2015, so his potential is sky high.
by Bruce M4/28/2018 12:09:14 AM
We're gonna need all the help we can get with Fack and Biegs rushing the QB.
by SterlingReputation4/28/2018 12:09:19 AM
do not panic lots of really good players will be picked tomorrow and our secondary is remade
by pjb564/28/2018 12:09:29 AM
I looked it up. 7 DBs in the first two rounds in the last five years. That’s a lot of calories spent on a position with limited ROI
by Milpool4/28/2018 12:09:36 AM
love the armchair GM's in the chat room.
by Mark T4/28/2018 12:09:46 AM
Fans need to realize the Packers have a board and Jackson may have been the top rated player.
