Teams feed it to him to their advantage. Why do you think he went with that crap that the Packers might take Kizer at the top of the 2nd? What an embarrassment that was.
Chiefs go with OLB Tanoh Kpassagnon.
More of an end at 286 pounds. He could have played end in the Packers' 3-4.
He's like a Dean Lowry with long arms.
Ignore it. You have to. I'm not going to do a team's dirty work. That one didn't pass the smell test at all.
I'm sticking with Willis.
As soon as the Packers make the pick, I'm going to run back to the auditorium, so there may be a slight delay. I'll transcribe comments from whomever they bring out.
Yes. They probably were only looking to move back a couple of spots so they could still get King. He kind of said that.
Wow, there's a report they're taking NC State S Josh Jones.
Packers take NC State safety Josh Jones with the 61st pick.
Wolf wanted speed and he got it. This guy is a 4.40 at 6-1 1/2 and 221 pounds.
This is that Morgan Burnett/Marc Baron/Deone Buchanon guy who can play near the line of scrimmage. Except he can run like the wind.
Thompson is not messing around with his secondary.
Burnett is going to be a free agent and probably will cost a lot. Clinton-Dix is going to get a huge bump in two years to $7 million, so they're planning for the future.
I think he can do both. I think he can cover tight ends from a LB position or big receivers in the slot. He's 6-1 1/2, 221 pounds. That's a big man for 4.4 time.
These days you play nickel so much that if you have a guy who can play in the box like a linebacker it gives you a big advantage. Against a 3-receiver set, he can cover the tight end man to man and the safeties give help to the corners. Burnett did that against Jimmy Graham if you remember.
I think this was their guy. They want speed.
Brian Gutekunst will be coming down to talk about Josh Jones.
Not a ton of production in college. Did rank 9th in the ACC in tackles and 11th in passes broken up.
He played strong safety in 2015.
Was a free safety as a junior. Declared early.
He was suspended for a game at Louisville in 2014.
